But Pedro is much more than just another business man: As a DJ he is playing around around the globe. Only in 2006 he was performing on four of five continents, headlining open air and indoor festivals, club nights, as well as performing as headliner for the world’s most famous brand Godskitchen. South Africa, USA, China or Ibiza are just a few countries on his 2006 schedule.

His productions got released in more than 60 countries around the world, entering sales and dance charts, e.g. in the UK and on top labels such as Blackhole, Tsunami, Jive, Nebula or Ministry Of Sound. As a remixer he works for System F, Johan Gielen, Josh Gabriel, Thrillseekers and Cosmic Gate, just to name a few.

As a manager he takes care of numerous high quality producers, artists and projects that are signed to the world’s leading labels, e.g. Blackhole, Armada, Vandit or Ministry Of Sound.

In 2000 he started as freelancer at Shah-Music where he took care for release schedules and promotions but received more and more responsibilities. In 2001 he released his first Pedro Del Mar single "HARDER?!" which became one of the most played tunes during the summer with big support by Judge Jules, Tiesto and all other key DJs. The result was a UK chart entry as well as deals in more than 60 countries on all five continents.

Pedro's follow up singles also reached unbelievable support by the worlds top DJs. In the following months and years he played tons of international gigs in various countries, there under 6 hours sets at the Privilege openings in Ibiza (the biggest club on earth). But as he became more and more busy with all business at Shah-Music, the time for being in the studio became less and less.

But he’s actually again more and more in the studio. Besides some remixes, he also took the time to finish his first solo single since more than two years "PEDRO DEL MAR - FEEL" which is going to be released soon with a huge remix package by Fonzerelli, DJ Shog, Singular, Martin Roth, DJ Shah and some other guys. Vinyl 1 has just been released and promotion startet in middle March ’07. First dance charts result is #6! Expected positions are Top 3 dance charts and Top 30 sales charts!!

Pedro also just became signed by Tiesto’s Blackhole label “Cold Blue & Del Mar”. The first single “Seven Ways / 11 Days” is just released with massive support by Tiesto amongst others. The tune also entered the global Top 5 in several MP3 charts.

Pedro is also the Mastermind behind MELLOMANIA which is not only famous for its unbelievable radio success, but also for its events and compilations. The show itself is one of Europe’s leading trance and balearic formats, broadcasted each Monday evening from 8-12pm CET including guest mixes by all international top DJs, such as Tiesto, Gabriel & Dresden or Armin Van Buuren. The show is also broadcasted in the USA, Canada, UK, Hungary, Argentina, Sweden, Denmark, Slovenia, Lituania and Netherlands amongst other countries and has around 1.5 million listeners each month.

Pedro's DJ sets can be described as a journey through electronical music. Even though he is specialized into the trance scene, his sets might also influenced by House, Tribal and Progressive music.
