 DJ Shah is one of today's leading electronical producers in Germany. He started his professional music career in 1996 and reaches, year after year, Top 10 dance chart positions in Germany. His latest productions have been supported by Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten, Tiesto and many many more leading DJs of the scene. Read on to find out more....
He also acts as a Remixer for acts like Sarah Mclachlan, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren feat. Ray Wilson, Mark Norman, York, Cosmic Gate, Josh Gabriel (Gabriel & Dresden), Johan Gielen, System F, Thrillseekers, Solarstone, Three Drives and Matt Darey amongst others as well as for labels such as Vandit, Blackhole or Armada. In October 2005, he gives his debut on Tiestos own label Blackhole with his “Global Experience” project. Furthermore in 2006 he signed a deal with Armada for his solo single “DJ Shah meets Jan Johnston – Beautiful” which Armada described as one of the best tracks of Armin’s A State of Trance 2006 Compilation. As well as a second project called “Sunlounger – White Sand” which was one of the most requested and successful tracks of 2006. Besides the follow up single of Global Experience - Zanzibar, Blackhole also signs his project Savannah for the world. At this moment the international press describes him as one of the hottest names of the moment. Shah is the only German producer and DJ featured on Tiesto's new ISOS5 compilation, the worlds leading dance album. Tiesto writes on his own website about DJ Shah "great producer from Germany - DJ Shah makes another killer"! Two other tracks are included on Armin van Buurens new ASOT2006 compilation. Now in 2007 is the time for the follow up single of his successful projects. “Sunlounger – Aguas Blancas” and “DJ Shah – Palmarosa” are the next upcoming tracks in March and April. Both tracks again with Armada and the follow up singles for both projects are also finished and approved by Armin van Buuren himself. Another successful project is his collaboration with Ralph Fridge called “Black Pearl – Bounty Island” a huge atmospheric tune also hammered and signed by Armin for ASOT. Shah made also a collaboration with long time friend and also producer Cosmo and created two new projects. “Purple Mood – One night in Tokyo” is signed direct to Anjunabeats and hammered by Above & Beyond and Paul van Dyk. The other project is called “El Cortez – DJ Shah also runs his own record company Shah-Music with the labels Tsushima, Tsushima Limited, Innovative, Shah-Records, Shah-Music Digital as well his very own Magic Island Records imprint where he releases 100% of finest Balearic/Tribal tunes. Together with Pedro Del Mar he runs Germanys leading radio show "Mellomania". Broadcasted each Monday night from 8-12pm. They do also run monthly shows all around the globe. As a DJ he plays around the world. USA, China, Greece, Spain, Thailand, France, Hungary, Turkey and Ibiza are just a few countries where he is spinning his very unique and innovative special live sets that can be described as a journey through electronical music.  |
