 Digital Remedy Recordings is the new digital imprint, owned and run, by Lee Haslam. Lee has been working in the dance music for over nine years and within that time has become one of the most well respected & prolific DJ / Producer’s within the scene. Read on to find out more....
At the beginning of 2004 Lee, as a DJ and producer, began a journey that would see him slowly move away from his harder roots back to his love of Trance & Tech-Trance. During that time Lee has been concentrating on his own original productions and has already had a single out on Monster Tunes as well as remixes on Tsunami, Strukture, Five AM and Innov8 It was important for Lee to establish his own imprint and embrace digital distribution alone as he constantly became more and more frustrated with the slow turn around of larger labels and of course the lack of control and identity which he needed to establish himself on the trance circuit. This was compounded even more when in January 2007 Lee resigned from his Head Of Music post at tidy trax to concentrate on his new label and to push his productions and DJing. Digital Remedy was born on October 16th 2006 and is initially designed to cater for his own productions. The first two releases were a four track EP from Lee himself which superbly showed off his new direction and wide range of production style with two superb euphoric productions called “Checkmate” & “Carpe Diem ( Seize The Day)” which were released first and were quickly followed in January 07 by a further two tech trance tracks called “Kinetic” & “Close Encounters” which gained noticeable support from the likes of Judge Jules ( Two Plays On Radio One ), Eddie Halliwell, Sander Van Doorn, Marcel Woods & Agnelli & Nelson to name but a few. Lee has already got his third release well underway which will be hitting the download stores in March 07 and with a collaborations Project on the horizon for April, the future is looking very bright for Digital Remedy Recordings.... the stable diet for all trance music enthusiasts.
