Well know for his involvements in other works, mainly being one half of A/B Project, Chris Breame under his BRM guise delivers a huge record that’s sure to work it’s way into your forthcoming sets. ‘The One’ is Full of emotion and pumping drive you simply can’t deny this is trance at its best. On remix duties is Maartian Hercules under his Fa Kin Super alias, we’ll say no more on the name as you can work that one out. But he delivers in fine form and helps create one hell of a mouth watering package from BRM.

TheTranceArena.com's verdict:

BRM - "The One" (Original Mix): This mix starts off with a tough, crisp, and gutsy bassline which slowly builds up, accompanied with a female vocal sample plus snares and hi-hats, to form a fantastic intro. The melody features light, subtle, Trancey chords which slowly progress from a delicate build-up, to full on, powerful chords. The breakdown is gorgeous - very light and dreamy with a subtle female vocal and gorgeous synths. As the breakdown proceeds, the synths get more powerful, and a light percussive element blends in to help build back up the main melody and outro. The tune continues with plenty of guts and energy all the way to the end. A nice tune which is very well produced. Ideal for the earlier part of a peak-time set, or the latter stages of a warm-up set. 8/10

BRM - "The One" (BRM's The Other One Mix): BRM's The Other One Mix kicks off with a much tougher bassline than the original mix, and the intro is much more energetic and 'driving'. Snares, hi-hats and kick drums, plus more usage of the vocal, help to form a really gutsy build-up. Just after the build-up, a nice breakbeat bassline kicks in, along with light, stabbing, Trancey chords to help break the tune up before the melody comes into play. The breakdown is superb! Very light, melodic synths combined with subtle use of the vocal blended in help to create a really atmospheric, hands-in-the-air moment! The outro continues with the same energy and 'drive' which formed the intro - making this a fantastic peak-time Trancer! I'm really looking forward to hearing this over a loud system in a nightclub. Superb remix! 8/10

BRM - "The One" (Fa Kin Super Mix): The Fa Kin Super mix starts off with another fairly tough bassline which, again, is fairly energetic with plenty of percussive elements. Subtle use of the vocal comes into play again too. The melody in this remix is far more 'chilled' and relies more on calmer elements and a couple of shorter breakdowns rather than one long breakdown. Towards the middle of the tune, the bassline calms down - leaving the chords to form the main backbone of the tune instead. With the breakbeat element removed from this remix, the bassline being much calmer, and shorter, calmer breakdowns, I feel that this remix is suited more towards a warm-up set. This remix would sound right at home in a Riley & Durrant warm-up set at Gatecrasher. A nice remix, but just lacked that little bit of spark which made it less appealing than the previous two mixes. 7/10
