Some tough matches there. Wigan vs Spurs will be interesting, but Wigan have lost their way a bit so I fancy Spurs. Wolves will draw 1-1 with Ipswich in a typical Hoddlesque stylee.
Doncaster will get caned 12-0 lol.
I'm surprised at Megson. I always thought he was a good manager. He worked miracles at West Brom. He took on a tough job from the start at Forest though. I think he took on the wrong job at the wrong time
I don't think McCarthy will get the sack. He's done all he can do there I think. Again, he's a decent manager thats took on a tricky job that nobody has had any real success with since Peter Reid was sacked. I think if anyone is to go next, its likely to be Steve McClaren - he's spent a lot, wasted it, and seems to get by on his reputaion as "Fergies old number 2, and a future England manager". Personally, I don't think he's good enough to be England manager - he's never proven himself, and I also think that he's been working with Sven for too long. If Sven is going, then we need a whole new Era of coaching staff too.
Well, first off, good win for the Rovers Good win for Wolves too, they might just scrape into the playoffs. And although Spurs/Wigan was 2-2 it was a cracking game from what I saw of it too.
Secondly, my eyes still water when I see the pics of Alan Smith's ankle.
Oh, and they've drawn the quarter finals of the cup today:
Charlton v Middlesbrough
Aston Villa or Manchester City v Bolton or West Ham
Chelsea v Newcastle United
Birmingham v Liverpool
Easy ties for Chelsea and Liverpool so I'm hoping they meet in the semis to give someone else a chance!
