Seriously though, i've not heard of those people so I can't comment - I think Sapphires do interest free credit though and they've always given good service. Their prices are always decent too.

I've looked on the website and can't see anything about it, which is a shame.

I know £599 at DJFD is a tad pricey but with the interest free credit over 2 years it actually works out cheaper than the other places where it's only £529.

There's one on ebay for £399 plus £47 postage from Hong Kong but I don't want to take the chance cos if it didn't work I'd be screwed.

It's not a decision I've taken lightly, but I've accepted that I'm **** at saving money and if I wait I'll never do it, so paying off over 2 years interest free seems perfect for me really.

How about getting a Credit Card with 9 months interest free and then buying it cheaper from somewhere else on that? If you instruct the credit card company to take £xx each month by direct debit, then you won't need to worry about the prospect of "i'll pay the minimum payment this month and pay more next month" a la Briggsy's £27k debt stylee?

Just another thought that might save you a few quid.

Because I know what I'm like

I've never had a credit card before and never will for this reason

Getting one and cutting it up wouldn't work either because I'd just memorise the 16 digit number

I so wish i'd had that attitude mate. I'm well behaved now because I know I was right in the **** at one point, but its been a nightmare situation. Roll on when i'm 32 and debt free again.

I'm with carl with this about sapphires aka decks.co.uk as I've used them to buy all my equipment from my first vinyl decks (soundlab DLP1500, lol) to all my stuff I have at the mo.

and I have always received them next day and had excellent customer service from them.
