General Questions:

Q. Why do some members have their name shown in orange or blue on the "currently active users" page?

A. Members shown in orange are site administrators - they have overall control of the site. Members shown in Blue are site moderators - these members have the power to delete or close offensive threads and ban troublesome members. Members shown in green are "normal" members.


Technical Questions:

Q. I keep getting logged out of the site, or have to re-log in if i've been inactive for a while. Why is this?

A. When you log in, tick the "remember me" box. This then allows the forum to remember you each time you visit the site and then you'll no longer need to keep logging in each time you visit. It will also prevent you from being "timed out" if you've been inactive for a while. DO NOT use the "remember me" function on a public PC (ie, library, internet cafe, etc) - if you leave that PC, people will be able to log in as you and alter your settings, etc. Only use that option on your own secure PC.
